The international jury of the Delta Awards 2011 formed by Gjis Bakker, Deyan Sudjic, David Cutcliffe, Petz Schutz, Carles Guerra, Jaime Serramalera & Viviana Narotzky, it has been awarded with the Gold Delta for the Steam Roaster’s simplicity and adaptability; best product design for the last two years.

From COMPEIXALAIGUA we want to sincerelly thank the jury, the ADIFAD & all your congratulations and support showned. It is very hard to feel happier/surprised/blissful/emotional.

The Steam Roaster for Lekue is going to be exhibited at FADEXPO “El mejor diseño del año”. We trully recomend to visit the exhibition at FAD (Plaça dels Àngels, Barcelona) From July the 1st until August the 31st.

Quitting coffee must be a hard experience. My New Vice is a set of substitutive capsules of chocolate that you can bite, lick or dissolve on a glass of hot milk to provide energy on the harshest moments.

This product comes from an invitation from Chocolat Factory to Surtido for the creation of proposals around the world of chocolate. There was a main requirement, products VERY easy to produce.

We must confess it… we didn’t design such a thimble with kids in mind. This product comes from an invitation from Chocolat Factory to Surtido for the creation of proposals around the world of chocolate. There was a main requirement, products VERY easy to produce.

From Azul Acocsa we perceived an unstoppable interest on the quest for the perfect piece; the “ideal” pavement (stone, ceramic, timber,…) for an interior designer to achieve the uniqueness. For this “quest” or “selection” we exposed them as pieces of Art at Construmat. Creating a space to feel like a museum where pieces presented could be like paintings isolated from the surrounding Fair by a huge deck and closed ceiling. With such an architectonic construction and volume it was kind of dislocated from the Fair.

A tiny gesture that makes a difference on a space with no big charade. By moving the ground limit up by 2 meters (6.5 feet) the visual impact was a huge difference at the same time that it helps a visitor discover a new material so they can appreciate its quality (LVT Luxury Vinyl Tiles)

This space’s claim comes from a bunch of “+” from their corporate image that grow up for this venue. They become climbing holds, symbols of challenges, objectives and future knowledge students will reach.

To maintain last year’s perception, we went for an open space to improve the visual amplitude.

Digital world is something abstract and hard to represent. PLead services evolve within this spectre. To represent what they offer we created a main front element. We hired 600 collaborators on a 1:50 scale so they could do the task for us. Set on a tapered arch in a filter like shape they represented PLead’s task of selection.
