GIVE ME FIVE

TYPE: FOOD DESIGN
CLIENT: CHOCOLAT FACTORY

2/2

We must confess… we didn’t design such a thimble with kids in mind. This product comes from an invitation by Chocolat Factory to Surtido collective for the creation of proposals around the world of chocolate. There was a main requirement, products VERY easy to produce.

Working on this, the longer we were thinking of chocolate, the more we found ourselves thinking about indulgence, no moderation, lust, excess, … but also about childhood, memories, attitude, un/restrictions, … licks, bites, dirty mouths and obviously… fingertips.

So, is there anything more global than dirty hands and faces from chocolate smudges? We don’t think so… let’s empower that! Let’s urge, appeal to it!!! Let kids get dirty!!! And more important… why don’t we revive those feelings?? Above all intentions: Let’s provoke grown-ups to behave like children, get dirt and smudge our faces and hands! This really is what food design means everything, doesn’t it?

LET’S USE OUR FINGERTIPS AGAIN!
