my new vice > food design > chocolat factory

Quitting coffee must be a hard experience. My New Vice is a set of substituting capsules of chocolate that you can bite, lick or dissolve on a glass of hot milk to provide energy on the harshest moments.

This product comes from an invitation from Chocolat Factory to Surtido collective for the creation of proposals around the world of chocolate. There was a main requirement, products needed to be VERY easy to produce.

We tried to link two different vices or obsessions… and pull you out of one that’s not very healthy just to fall down into a new healthier one! Give up coffee and take the pleasure of chocolate!

Obviously this is not intended to be used on a coffee machine, but to relate to them. Not a chocolate Nespresso capsule, just a reminder of one, for those moments when an old vice strikes. Keep the ritual in some way, modify it. We don’t plan to help someone to quit coffee just with this, but if it does help anyone it will be great to know!!
